The Link Checker tool analyzes websites and blog for broken links (404) and redirects (301 and 302). This is an useful tool for check if search engine's spider can index your website correctly, the tool analyses the HTML code and extracts new URLs present in link and image tags.
The Link Checker tool is limited to analyse 100 URLs, for a detailed check I advice you to exlude images. In the future I will find a way for increase the analysis limit.
The analysis results show:
- HTTP status code and alert for each error or redirect
- details of HTTP header returned from the web server
- the number and the details of internal links pointing to web pages, documents and images
